Dr. Gail Samdperil joined the Online Prerequisites Program in 2022. She has spent the past 24 years at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT.  Between 2014-2021, she served as a clinical associate professor and the Associate Dean of the College of Health Profession. In addition, Dr. Samdperil served as the program director of the graduate athletic training professional program and an academic advisor to undergraduate and graduate students. In her role as Associate Dean, Dr. Samdperil developed and implemented programs targeting student success and student engagement. Her areas of contemporary expertise are in leadership, cultural competence, and professional development. She currently serves on national committees for the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education and the Board of Certification.
